Lindsay O'Connor

Spiritual Director

I am privileged to serve as a spiritual companion (also known as a spiritual director) to
individuals and groups who desire healing and wholeness in relation to God/the divine, self,

and others. In spiritual direction, a trained listener serves as a compassionate, non-
judgmental companion for the spiritual journey through reflective listening, noticing, and

sacred pauses. Together, the director and directee discern and respond to the voice and
active presence of the divine in order to experience greater freedom. Spiritual direction
helps people awaken to the reality and movement of divine Love in their lives so that they
may participate in Love’s restorative, transformative work in the world.

Spiritual direction may be helpful if you:
• are experiencing a shift in your beliefs
• are feeling spiritually “stuck”
• are grieving the loss of a faith community
• desire a deeper, more authentic connection with the Holy
• are healing from harmful theology
• are discerning a vocational calling
• need a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore spiritual questions,
doubts, or grief

I received training through the certificate in spiritual direction program at Perkins School of
Theology SMU and have training in the Enneagram, which I find to be a helpful tool in
spiritual direction. I also hold a master’s degree in education and have experience in
teaching, speaking, and facilitating small groups. I am glad to work with directees of any or
no religious background and fully aRirm all identities within the LGBTQ+ community.

I would be honored to companion you on your spiritual journey! One-on-one spiritual
direction sessions are available virtually as well as in-person in the Dallas area. For more
information or to schedule a free introductory Zoom session, visit my website here or email
me at lindsayloconnor@gmail.com
